NEWTON'S PENDULUM XL

The metal pendulum fascinates not only those interested in physics, but also others. The way Newton's pendulum works is as simple as it is fascinating, it is a great decorative element and it also has a calming effect. It is a great decoration in any office!

Newton's pendulum consists of five identical balls, each hanging on two wires of the same length, touching each other and aligned in a row. If you move the last ball to the left or right and hit it against the other, you will see that the ball on the other side will bounce at the same height as the first ball. However, all intermediate balls will remain in place. The pendulum was invented in 1967 by the English actor Simon Prebble and named after the scientist and mathematician Isaac Newton. It is a graphic representation of the laws of motion. which are better known than Newton's laws.
